Turbos Direct was founded in 2003 by owner Scott Rakestraw, one of three individuals that started the Garrett Performance Program.
Scott has been in the performance turbocharging industry since 1979 when he started working for his father-in-law, who was Garrett’s (then known as Allied Signal/AirResearch’s) first aftermarket distributor.
Scott has done testing with Garrett on over the road and big truck units and has several Warranty Certifications from Garrett for classes he has completed.
