Installing Gauges and Fittings
Optional Expanding Sensor and
Manifold Blocks
3
5
Gauges and fittings will need to be applied to utilise the
manifold. Each variation has slightly different internal
logic.
The Sensor TS-0704-1X01 range are expandable to
allow for more blocks to be added to the existing change
of blocks depending on the required setup.
Vacuum Manifolds are common and share all ports.
Sensor ports have an input and output (sensor).
Familiarise yourself with the internal plumbing logic.
Noted in step 2/
The blocks are simply located in with a M4 bolt and O
Ring that ensure a snug fit of the chain of blocks. The
Block is terminated with a mounting block on the end of
the chain.
Apply thread lubricant and screw in clockwise until
finger tight, then tighten further 1-2 turns for seal.
Start engine and check for leaks
4
Congratulations, your manifold block is installed and
ready for use. Double check all fittings, lines and
mountings then proceed to watch for any leaks.
CAUTION!
If leaks are present – switch off engine immediately
and rectify leaks.
CAUTION!
Ensure to not damage O rings as these are used to
seal on Vacuum Blocks.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following points should be checked if you find that your Vacuum/Boost Manifold is leaking
•
•
Check for O rings between blocks are intact
Check that the NPT threads are correctly torqued to a point that seals using the tapered thread.
